The method measures total dietary fiber (TDF) as defined by the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC). The method quantitates TDF by gravimetric and HPLC procedures (Figure 2017.16A). Resistant starch (RS) is captured in the insoluble dietary fiber (IDF) fraction.
