Analytical standards and test samples are dissolved and diluted in 2% acetic acid in methanol. After dissolution and dilution, a portion of the test sample and standards are filtered through 0.20 μm Nylon syringe filters into amber glass vials with Teflon-lined lids. The concentration of the active ingredients (AIs) is determined by the method of external standards using HPLC with UV detection.
