This evaluation procedure is intended as an alternative to the visual method of AATCC EP2, Gray Scale for Staining (see 8.1), for assessing the degree of staining on a fabric test specimen used in colorfastness tests (see 8.2). This procedure is applicable to any test method referring to the Gray Scale for Staining.
