It is also intended that these recommendations be used as guides for attaining uniformity, simplicity, adequacy, and economy in the shipment of steel products. These practices cover semi-finished steel products, bars, bar-size shapes and sheet pilings, rods, wire and wire products, tubular products, plates, sheets, and strips, tin mill products, and castings.
