Determination of ash in dried pulp with a single incineration at 650 °C with sulphuric acid. The sulphated ash is determined gravimetrically. This method is applicable for the determination of the sulphated ash content of dried beet pulp. The absolute difference between two results obtained under repeatability conditions should be not greater than 0.64 g/100 g. The absolute difference between two results obtained under reproducibility conditions should be not greater than 1.01 g/100 g.
