This practice provides a quantitative measure of the gels remaining in a flexible vinyl compound processed from general-purpose poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) resins under a prescribed set of working conditions. The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values in parentheses are for information only. This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
