This method describes the procedure for the determination of mud solids in cane mixed juice, primary mud, filter feed, filtrate and wet filter cake from rotary vacuum filters. The results from these analyses are used to assess clarifier and rotary vacuum filter performance. The precision of these methods has not been determined.
