This method determines as crude fiber the loss of incineration of the dried residue remaining after digesting the sample with dilute sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide as specified for the test. Applicable to high-fat, low-fat, and defatted soybean flours. Formerly Bc 6-47. Refer to Ba 6-84.
