Regulation under the Superfund law transfers cleanup costs to parties responsible for contamination

The US Environmental Protection Agency plans to crack down on industrial polluters responsible for contaminating water, soil, and air with two of the most toxic per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
