The technical material and the analytical standards are dissolved in 1 mL 1 M KOH. The potassium salt granular and liquid formulation are dissolved in water. An internal standard solution is added and an aliquot of each is injected into an ion-pairing chromatographic LC system. The concentration of MH is determined by comparison of peak area response ratios of the MH and the internal standard in the test solution against those of analytical standard solutions.
