This chapter contains the formulae for all non-commercially available culture media mentioned in the text of the Compendium and instructions for preparation and use of media and reagents. Commercially available media and reagents are designated with an asterisk (*) after their names. Additional information is provided as requested by chapter authors. Names of media are those by which they are generally referred to in the literature, with exceptions where the name used was given by the author of the chapter referring to the medium.
